To keep your Hyphae Jewelry looking its best, clean each piece with a toothbrush and dish soap. Tarnish cloths and other tarnish-removing products are also ideal for maintaining the shine and appearance of your jewelry. Avoid wearing your jewelry in the shower or exposing it to water for extended periods, as most water contains trace amounts of chlorine, which can damage the metal over time. Additionally, we recommend removing your jewelry during heavy physical activities to prevent excessive wear and tear.
-
At Hyphae, we understand that every piece of jewelry experiences wear and tear over time. Our goal is to ensure your jewelry remains wearable for generations. To support this, we offer a limited lifetime warranty on all our pieces. This warranty covers any manufacturer defects, ensuring your jewelry maintains its quality and beauty. Please note that any damage caused by the customer will require a repair fee.

All of our metals are nickel-free, except for our white gold. White gold achieves its color by alloying gold with small amounts of nickel, alongside various other metals. While there are some white gold alloys marketed as nickel-free, in our experience, these alloys are typically less malleable and versatile compared to nickel-containing alloys.
-
We recommend gemstones with a Mohs Hardness Scale rating of 8 or higher. This includes Diamonds, Sapphires, Rubies, Spinels, Chrysoberyls, Alexandrite, and most Beryls. It's important to note that while diamonds are less likely to become scratched over time, other gemstones are more susceptible to abrasion and scratching. Ultimately, the best stone depends on personal preference, budget, and the desired look for the engagement ring.
Customs

We are currently accepting most custom piece ideas and would be thrilled to make your dreams a reality. Please send us an email to get the process started.
-
We welcome you to first pick a center stone from our collection, and then find some styles or inspiration to help convey exactly what you would like created. We will take it from there!
-
Yes, we can work with client-provided stones. However, since we cannot verify the stone’s internal characteristics that might make it prone to fracturing, we cannot be held responsible for any damage that occurs during the setting process.
-
To begin, select your center stone and/or accent stones based on your design preferences. Once the gem selection is finalized, we will schedule a call to discuss all the design details. At this stage, we will request a $150 design deposit, which will be applied towards your piece. We will then create your custom design using CAD software and provide renderings for your review as we progress. Upon approval of the rendered design, we will produce a 3D plastic model for you to visualize and test before the final piece is cast. After your approval of the design, we will send a 30% invoice for your custom order, and proceed to cast and craft your unique piece of jewelry. Visit Our Process page to learn more!
-
Of course, we will provide digital renderings and can also send a 3D model to ensure your complete satisfaction with your piece before it enters production.

We offer personalization for any piece created by us that can be engraved or customized to your preferences. Simply reach out to us with your ideas!
